Independent Test Lab (ITL) Facility

enableTV has one of the most up-to-date test labs in the United States. The 7,000 square foot facility features 22 lab benches and 13 private lab spaces, including complete access to state-of-the-art headend equipment from Motorola and Scientific Atlanta and a full array of test equipment. This facility is designed to allow our customers to perform a wide-variety of testing tasks, including:

• Remote testing
• Module-level testing and debugging
• Integration testing

• Interoperability testing
• CableCARD stack and interface testing
• RF front end performance testing
• Pre-certification for tru2way devices
• Preparation for certification and qualification

The test lab is fully independent and completely secure. Our additional test products and engineering staff can assist in all your test requirements. With headends and set-top boxes in our facilities in Colorado, we can shorten the overall testing process and time to market for our clients.

Test Services Staff

When you come to enableTV for testing and test lab services, you get more than just a great facility with state-of-the-art equipment. You also get enableTV's test and quality assurance staff.  enableTV's staff has extensive background in automated test systems, manual testing, interactive cable testing, and OCAP/tru2way testing.  Our team also has extensive experience in testing hardware and software to ensure its performance in production environments. enableTV can help you test your standards-based devices and applications.

Testing is much more than solely testing the compliance of a hardware device with industry standards and requirements. Consumer electronics manufacturers also need to ensure that their devices will meet the requirements of the various MSOs that may deploy their products. enableTV's staff is working with the MSOs to integrate their network profiles into the testing process to help ensure compliance with the needs of different cable systems. In the near future, our ongoing expansion of testing services will also include application testing for content providers, MSOs, and hardware manufacturers.
